The former chairman managed Spurs' relocation to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in recent years.

US technology mogul Brooklyn Earick has ruled out launching a buyout proposal for the North London club.

Tottenham had earlier “firmly declined” an preliminary inquiry from a syndicate led by the American last month and stated the club was unavailable for purchase.

But British acquisition regulations required that, having had an informal proposal rejected, the group were obligated to present a formal offer by 24 October or state they would refrain.

Confirmation of the decision was provided in a statement made by Tottenham to the financial markets, indicating the club is “no longer in an offer period.”

The entrepreneur shared an image of the release on digital channels, adding: “It was a pleasure discussing with Tottenham Hotspur and the Lewis family's agents over the past few weeks.

“I hold deep admiration for the club, its executives, and its followers, and desire only the best.”

The club's board expressed gratitude to the consortium for its “positive engagement” in discussions and for “acknowledging the firm stance” of the shareholders that the team is unavailable.

Earick is a former DJ who also worked in space technology for NASA before creating the innovation company, which focuses on innovation, media, sport and leisure.

The informal offer was the third expression of interest declined by the organization's leadership since the sudden departure of top executive the former chairman in last month.

On 8 September, the club turned down offers from ex-Newcastle investor the financier's PCP International Finance Limited and a group headed by Kennedy and the co-investor through the holding company.

Daniel Levy and his relatives control about 30% of Enic Holdings – which has an almost 87% interest in Tottenham.

The executive was the English top flight's top-tenured leader and is estimated to have received in excess of fifty million pounds during his almost quarter of a century in the capacity.

Yet he was also the subject of frequent demonstrations by Tottenham supporters, especially last season as home competition outcomes were disappointing.

Spurs claimed their major honor in nearly two decades when they defeated United in May's continental decider.
